Tomason Rally wheels are made of g-AlSi7, an aluminum and silicon alloy that lends itself very well to heat treatment,
a process that improves mechanical performance by 20% and which makes it currently the best and most used foundry alloy

 

LOW PRESSURE DIE CASTING

It is the most used casting technique for g-AlSi7 alloys. The liquid aluminum at about 700 ° is injected into the mold with a pressure of about 1.2 / 1.5 Bar.
The liquid aluminum then, subjected to pressure, fills all the areas of the mold and takes the shape of the wheel.

 

The rim profile is optimized for the use of bigger brakes and the installation
of specialized tires for competition use.
The solid spoke design increases the strength of the wheel while the valve
is protected to prevent damage caused by stones.
The 3-coat powder coating protects from impact and abrasion damages, as
well as giving a clean and professional appearance.
