The Cavallo's substantial five-spoke construction is strong and open at the same time: the gaps between the spokes feed air to the brakes and make the wheel easier to wash. The design was developed for large diameters, so it sits naturally within a van's proportions – a slim-spoke pattern easily looks flimsy in big sizes, and the Cavallo doesn't.
