The SteyrTek tire repair kit lets you fix a puncture in your ATV, riding mower or trailer tire quickly and easily, often without removing the tire from the rim. The small, lightweight kit fits in your ATV’s storage box or your machine’s toolbox, so help is always close at hand.

How to use:

Remove the object that caused the puncture. Insert the rasp tool into the hole and slide it up and down to clean and roughen the inside. Thread a repair plug through the eye of the needle so it sits centered. Push the needle into the puncture until about 2/3 of the plug is inside the tire. Pull the needle straight out with a quick motion. Do not twist. Trim excess plug material flush with the tread. Inflate the tire to the recommended pressure and check for leaks with soapy water. If bubbles appear, repeat the process.

Please note: This kit is intended for repairing minor punctures, not major tire damage. Have the repaired tire inspected by a professional as soon as possible. Wear eye protection. The plug material is highly flammable. Keep out of reach of children.
